Great little theatre

This was our first time at the Studio Theatre. Small theatre with excellent view from every seat. Thoroughly enjoyed the show.

The Studio seats are very steeply raked and the climb can be difficult for those with disabilities. There isn't a poor seat in the house, but the seats are a bit narrow for the overweight. If you wear a hearing aid, take advantage of the infrared hearing devices which let you hear everything when the actors face away from you.

This is a small theatre which I like, close to the action. However, you are also very close to the person next to you, so If they are large, it may be a problem. I found the seat I was in, was very uncomfortable on the bum. This will not, however, prevent me from seeing a play here that is... More

This is a small theatre at the back of the Avon on George St. Saw the Aeneid performed there. Seating, like a few other venues in Stratford is quite awkward and not the most comfortable. Still OK overall.

To be honest, this is my least favorite of the theatres, mainly because it is not always the easiest in terms of rising to the height, via the steps to the seats, especially if you have any sort of 'height issue.' My wife finds it very disconcerting going up and coming down. We thus tend to find seats as low... More

It was a treat to see The Last Wife in the Studio Theatre several times this season. I sat in a different location each time and was really impressed with the natural acoustics and great sight lines. The unobstructed view afforded by the steep seating is wonderful.

This theatre was amazing and brought in 3 local schools to do 20 minute plays for the parents for free. They also had a workshop with Stratford actors in the morning for the kids. It was a wonderful experience for the school kids.

This is one of the nest place to sele a play...small and intimate and usually shows unusual, more modern plays. You are very close to the actors and emotion.....Similar to the Courthouse theater at Shaw

Apart from the air conditioning being something akin to Frigidaire and the seating configuration being totally unfriendly to people with mobility issues, I adore the Studio Theatre! I can always rely on new, powerful, and thought provoking plays to be produced in this space! I have never been disappointed yet!

We loved Possible Worlds here. The staging was creative and the material was thought provoking, although it sometimes could be perceived as a little self indulgent. The theater was comfortable and the acoustics were good. I would definitely return here again.
