Tour was interesting and informative (15 minutes) and for $8.00 per person you have a tour and then can dig or rummage through piles of amethyst rocks on the 4 acres in front of you. They then weight the rocks you choose to take home...More

The host/owners are very helpful and accommodating. We found some nice pieces sifting through the piles and enjoyed the energies of doing so during the solar eclipse. The price per bucket is very reasonable and it is a wonderful teaching experience to see how amethyst...More

We took an overnight trip to Canada to hit the mines and had a blast! Blue Point was the better of the two mines we visited and the cost was very fair. Got some really nice stones!! Highly recommend 😀

We were expecting a larger operation at this mine. Very friendly lady greeted us and told where we could wander to try to find some rocks/stones.

Roads are good. Only about a kilometre of gravel when you leave the paved highway to the mine. There were other campers at the mine when I was there.
