My brother and I went on the brewery tour and had an awesome time. I have been on many brewery tours in different countries, and this was one of the best. The staff was friendly and passionate about their beer. They provide more than enough beer to make sure you are not thirsty throughout. The tour was short and informative.... More

I have done this tour 4 times and it never gets old! I did the tour again on Saturday morning and I learn something new every time! We had the lovely James as a tour guide and he was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the beer and the fascinating journey of Steam Whistle! This tour is suitable for all... More

Garrett was a fantastic tour guide! He was funny and informative, and clearly very happy working at Steam Whistle and promoting their brand. From what we learned, Steam Whistle is a closely knit family of people who really care about the integrity of the 'pilsner.' Also, the Steam Whistle brewery is the second-most environmentally friendly in North America (don't quote... More

But free samples... Maybe if I were alone or with other adults, I could have stayed for a drink, but with the kids... :(

Steam Whistle easily has the best location in the city. Our tour guide was great and very informative. We got to drink a beer while we did the tour and then tried the unfiltered version at the end to compare. I don't even like beer and I thought it was very good. The tour is only about 45 minutes so... More

I didn't do the tour since we had our dog with us. They were very dog friendly and that was appreciated.

I was in Toronto for a Raptors game and had time to kill so I tried the Steam Whistle brewery. It was kind of fun but being someone who is under drinking age it was kinda boring. Our tour guide was very enthusiastic and funny. His name was Noah. This was a pretty good experience.

Another great brewery tour. I had this on the itinerary after searching up things to do in Toronto. I wasn't disappointed. Upon arrival and booking into our tour, 2 taster glasses of beer were placed in front of us, loving this place, fortunately my wife doesn't like beer so I had to drink both. On the tour, you get a... Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
