Brought my parents down to walk along the water and enjoy the sights and sounds. God activity for the whole family. Food and souvenirs are available as well.

We visited the Harbourfront off season on a beautiful off season Sunday. Although there weren't any activities going on, it was a great place to sit under the many benches and chairs with umbrellas provided. Great place for a picnic.

We attempted to take one of the cruises, however we arrived too late. We still checked out this area as it is so gorgeous: lots of buildings near it and more being built and that amazing water and blue skies you would think you are in the tropics!!! Or maybe we were fortunate to be having a great day.

In the sunshine there is no better place to stop, people watch and chill out with food and a drink. Lots of other attractions are close by.

I love going to the Harbourfront, a trip to Toronto would not be the same without this visit. Go for a walk, admire the planes taking off, the skyline, explore and enjoy the walk along the water.

We enjoyed a show at the Harbourfront Centre Theatre which is similar to the Stockey Centre in Parry Sound but less well maintained and with not quite so good acoustics. We made the mistake of heading to Harbourfront assuming we'd find a great choice of restaurants and pubs. With so many places closed for construction - no such luck! We... More

Went down to the Harbour front to get out and walk about after 3 days of meetings, meetings, meetings. The view is very calming and even in Feb. there was still thins to do. .

We go to Harbourfront all the time. It's a great place to walk around and explore. There's always something to see and do. My kids love to look at the tall ships and watch the planes take off from the island. A great place to send the day, or just a couple hours.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
