Great iconic structure that encompasses Toronto as a world class metropolis - If you've never been, go and if you have a few bucks, enjoy the 360 restaurant for the lamb is the best I've ever had!

We went to check out the tower 1st thing in the morning. I thought the ticket price was expensive. There is security you have to go through first. Then we were taken up in the elevator to the top of the tower. There is a small glass floor area but it isn't very clear. The restaurant on that floor takes... More

A cool thing to do in Toronto. Great 360 degree view. A bit pricey but when you stand on glass with 400+ meters below you, it's worth it.

My husband and friend did the extreme walk and really enjoyed that! Only Issue was weather was bad the first tome We went and so we had to reschedule, no... More

One of the highest towers in the world and one of the symbols of Canada! A must see... from there you can see the hole city of Toronto! I recommend to go by the end of the day so you can enjoy both day and night views. The price is a little expensive. In my opinion. I went all the... More

You cannot go downtown without a visit to the CN tower. The views are second to none and there is so much to see and do. Little bit pricey. Not a cheap attraction.

This was our second visit to the CN Tower but our first Night-time visit. The views of the lights of the city were beautiful. We lucked out with the the weather, you would never have known it was the middle of January out on the Outdoor Sky Terrace.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
