The time flew by during this highly informativ and entertaining walking tour through Toronto downtown. Julian is a great storyteller and knows how to grab your attention. He is very knowlwdgeable, adds personal anecdotes and has a good sens of humour. I plan to come back for another tour in autumn.

This is a very good way to learn lesser known facts about a city from a knowledgeable local. At this time of year Tour Guys offer fewer tours so it was fortunate that this lined up with the schedule. We ran over time even though new City Hall was not open to us. The weather was not really a factor... More

Tour Guys provided my group and I a private tour of Chinatown and Kensington Market. We did a team building event (tour followed by a scavenger hunt) and we really enjoyed ourselves! The guide (Jackie) was excellent and everyone in the group had many positive things to say about her. Jackie's storytelling was very engaging and we really enjoyed the... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
