I was expecting it to be a bit more folksy but nevertheless, it's a great place to walk around to get away from the crowds. Some great photo opportunities and quite a full morning if you take in the Necropolis and Allan Gardens.

My partner and i were exploring the area and bumped into the festival. The roads were closed to many many stalls. There were live bands on every intersection, people on stilts and lots of fun for everyone. We also visited a lot of the stores...More

Interesting section of Toronto. More quaint restaurants and shoppes to stop in. If you wander off the main drag right there you will see some wonderful homes and landscaping - just beautiful and picturesque.

We went through Cabbagetown on the bus but I wished we had got off here. It looked really quirky and like a friendly place to wander round. Hopefully I will get to go back to Toronto so I can walk round and experience the area...More

It's quite your average high street - places to eat and basic shops and services you would expect to see on most high streets. The houses provided a quaint atmosphere (not being from Toronto I cannot say if this is usual for Toronto suburbs). The...More

Cabbage town has been a place of community and transition. Many who migrate to T.O. move through this community. Oldish homes with tons of character and a friendly welcoming community.

Cabbagetown is a small gem of a community where pride of ownership is evident everywhere. This is a Toronto neighbourhood with a northern border of Bloor Street/St. James Cemetery and Dundas Street being the southern one. The Don River is the eastern limit, and it...More

Cabbagetown was almost demolished along with the rest of downtown in the 50s and 60s, were it not for hippies and yuppies who recognized the gracefulness of the Victorian row houses and started to move in. Every second house has delicate gingerbread trim and lovely...More

Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination
for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip

a strong student influence from the Ryerson University

flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities,
with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to
