I love coming here with my family in the summer. It's like a secret garden right in the middle of Toronto. So beautiful and peaceful. Love love love!

I have been going to these gardens for years and after the floods in 2005 many areas have never been properly restored. Also there are much fewer flowers this year for some reason. What is also unfortunate is the large number of visitors who ignore...More

It is a good place to start your exploration of the parklands off Eglinton East. Parking is limited and difficult on weekends. Don't know if , as a tourist, I would venture here by public transport. There is no direct access. On Thursdays there is...More

Edwards Gardens has changed since we last time we visited it twenty years ago. I was amazed of all the changes they did to this place, it was like Butchart Gardens in B.C. We had a nice relaxing walk through parts of the gardens. It...More

North York
North York is one of Toronto's most culturally diverse
neighborhoods. Home to a number of cultural events
throughout the year that celebrate the city's varied
ethnic communities, it's always worthwhile to see
what's going on in the area. Its cross-section of
inhabitants include students and long-time residents,
giving North York an eclectic feeling of being both
local and international. Extremely family-friendly,

I have a visitor coming from Australia at the end of March. Is it worth a trip to Edwards Garden, or will it be too early in the season for decent photo opps?

Unfortunately here in Toronto, it will be too early to see any of the beauty that Edwards Gardens has at that time. Mid to late April is when we start to bloom here in Toronto.
When can we see the fall colours in here?
