Greektown on the Danforth is no the same anymore .Many Greek restaurants are gone and replaced by other international cuisines.You can still find good Greek food here and the Greek festival in the summer is great place to be and feel like a Greek

Taste of the Danforth in summer 2017. Fun and food .... wow! Souvlaki, Gyros, Lamb chops, chicken, corn on the cob and more. Bands and Ice cream and Toronto Sports teams, Banks and beer. Toronto East General support, stores open with special sidewalk sales too.

There are so many places to eat that have amazing food around there. I haven't tried a place yet that I didn't love!

You are going to have to book a flight to the Greek Islands to get anymore authentic. These are Greeks! Proud Greeks! and they should be because they have maintained their traditions and flavours of their home and brought it to us here in Canada....More

So much do do and great food! However you have to stop at the Athens bakery and try the honeyballs. An explosion of deliciousness!

This is a very vibrant area of Toronto with lots of good restaurants - Greek and otherwise and lots of interesting shops. There are a few bars and coffee shops which are actually "social clubs". You will want to avoid those.
