The best place to get away from the city in the city. It got everything for young kids to adults.fun day of activity or get away for quite relaxing.my favorite place for a picnic for on a summer day.

Fantastic place to get away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Toronto.. A $10 10 minute water taxi ride and some beautiful quiet walks are yours to have.. Plus the most iconic photo opportunities to take of Toronto can be had right here...

Riding the water taxi over was fun. We rented some bikes and rode around all day. Various venders were out selling food. Also enjoyed chinese festival.

Short ferry trip over the lake. If you have kids it has a theme park ( No big rollercoasters), beaches, picnic places, canoes and bikes for hire. You can easily spend a full day here, ferry costs $7 CAD.

Hi the ferries do run you can check the city of Toronto website. Or simply do a search under Toronto Island ferry schedule Have fun, call the Rectory Cafe to book a table for lunch
