This is the main Street that runs through Toronto, dividing the East & West side. There is so much going on and it is full of shops, restaurants and bars. Felt very safe walking about. It was previously the longest Street in the world.

Main street past shopping, entertainment and restaurants. Lively and leads to Toronto's equivalent of Times Square.

Very busy Metropolitan street with shopping, restaurants, and lots of fun things to do, including major people watching. You have to spend at least a few hours on Yonge Street. Best at night with all the lights on.

At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination
for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip
and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with
a strong student influence from the Ryerson University
Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in
flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities,
with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to
Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of

There is a large one not far from the Eaton Centre. It is on the east side of Yonge St. below Dundas.
