EdgeWalk is the "World's Highest External Walk on a Building"...

EdgeWalk is the "World's Highest External Walk on a Building" (Guinness World Record), a full circle hands-free walk on a 5 ft (1.5 m) wide ledge encircling the top of the Tower's main pod. Visitors walk in groups of six, while attached to an overhead safety rail via a trolley and harness system. Trained EdgeWalk guides encourage participants to push their personal limits, allowing them to lean back over Toronto with nothing but air and breathtaking views of Lake Ontario beneath them. Designed with the highest international safety and security standards in mind, EdgeWalk runs 1.5 hours, with the outdoor walk lasting approximately 30 minutes. Tickets include a keepsake video, photos and certificate of achievement. Participants also receive a CN Tower re-admission General Admission ticket + SkyPod (includes access to LookOut, Glass Floor/outdoor SkyTerrace, SkyPod Levels). EdgeWalk operates seasonally from spring to late fall, 7 days a week, and hours of operation fluctuate depending on daylight.

The ultimate thrill

Not for those who are afraid of heights. Walking outside on the edge of the tower, is amazing. See the city from a very different vantage point. Great for your bucket list.

My friend and I decided to challenge our fear of heights and this is definitely pushing our limits . Thoroughly enjoyable, no pressure, completely self directed. The only one stopping you is you ! Oh and by the way what a view ! Would do it all over again 👍😜

Went for a birthday event. Was fun, safe and worth the money. The guides made it lots of fun, and pointed out many areas to see. We bought the pictures and cd as well.

I've been skydiving, bungee jumping, white water rafting and more! But for some reason I did not think hanging over the edge of one of the worlds tallest buildings was going to be as adrenalin pumping as it turned out to be! I'm really glad I did this and it made for an awesome memory! I'm glad I can cross... More

I booked this for the wife's 50th Birthday trip. I had a few drinks the night before as I forgot that you will get a alcohol breathe test and if over the limit you will not be allowed to go up. So I wouldn't drink the night before. Having passed the alcohol test all I can say is pay the... More

It's quite an amazing experience walking around outside of the CN Tower, but leaning over the edge, both frontwards and backwards is almost heart stopping. The views from that high are exceptional. It's best in a very clear calm day of course. It's a bit of a process getting ready for it, but well worth the time.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
