Visited here to see production of Mary Poppins. 3 small theatres on one site. We visited the larger of the 3 and I was genuinely and pleasantly surprised at how many could be seated here. From looking at other reviews I was a bit doubtful I would be comfortable on the chairs, but they all had good cushions and wherever... More

"Mary Poppins" did not dissapoint ! Great performances via the entire cast. This production really captures the essence of "Mary Poppins". My 10 year old loved it. Yes, we were apprehensive at first of the LOT (first timers) but the closeness of our seats made it even more special for us. Yes the chairs are a bit uncomformcirtable but we... More

I have been there many times. The latest time to see "Little Shop of Horrors". The rooms hold about 100 people. Very intimate. Look for deals on Groupon and elsewhere

Went with my sister to see Mary Poppins, nice small theatre, seats a few hundred so nice and close to the stage. Quick stage set changes great songs and good performances by all. Very friendly staff. Unfortunately the seats were fold up chairs that were pretty hard, after an hour and a half I was getting numb so didn't return... More

I took my 7 year old daughter to see Mary Poppins here last night and it was wonderful! We were delighted to be seated right in the front row and it was a great experience. If you are a bit shy (or very tall), you may find being right in the front row a bit close, as you are essentially... More

What a pleasant surprise this performance was for us. We took our 87 year old mother as a gift and were thrilled with the singing, dancing and professional calibre quality of entire show. The tiny stage is completely transformed from rooftops to house parlours and adds to the show’s enjoyment to see the cast working so smoothly together. Costumes are... More

Went to see their amazing production of Mary Poppins. I didn't realize how small the theatre was and our seats were front row, and the stage is on the floor. Which means that my (and my friend's) long legs were in the actors way as they rushed about the stage at times. I kept having to suddenly move as to... More

Had read the reviews for this show and they were not wrong. Fantastic performance by all actors/actresses in this entertaining and delightful show. Would definately recommend to both young and old. The only con to this enjoyable evening were the uncomfortable chairs.(bring a cushion).

I went to see "Mary Poppins" today with my wife. We were given tickets as a gift. Before coming, I checked out the location on street level of google maps and I was honestly not impressed as we have been to more impressive venues before so I was not expecting much. However, once the show started, we found out that... More

Very professional little cast. Small theatre space well used by the design staff. No seat far from stage 30 feet max. The adult slushies was a good addition to the night. Would travel back from Michigan to see more shows

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
