I'd heard about this place from friends, so after a family wedding in NJ, we decided to do a road trip to Niagra Falls and Toronto to see this. It was a long trip, but worth it! It's difficult to imagine such a traditional Indian...More

It's a beautiful piece of Indian architecture. It's far from Toronto though as it is located in the further away suburb. Their staff is rude and the institute has some weird rules. They gave my friend a piece of fabric to cover over her top...More

Definitely feels you have left Toronto and travelled to a temple in the east. I would highly recommend this place for someone seeking a peaceful day in a beautiful house of worship.

The Swami Mandir in Toronto is a very peaceful, majestic building and a place of worship for Hindu followers in the greater Toronto area. Make no mistake, this is not an attraction, this is a sacred place and a Mandir of worship. Prayer and worship...More
