The whole staff at Nouvelle Maria Spa is so attentive, courteous and friendly. I have had massage treatment through the years with Istvan and Eugene, both are incredible professional and extremely good. Definitely my place to go for a massage treatment.

The entire team at the spa is hospitable and Istvan has been my go-to guy for years. I make it a point to see him every time I'm in Toronto.

My boyfriend and I went for massages, service was excellent, massages were great, the only thing is that the spa is very dated, the rest of the hotel has been through some sort of renovation, hopefully Omni updates the spa in the near future!

I'd like to tell all of you out there a little (true) story. Back in 2001 I got married. At the beginning everyone thinks their marriage is made in heaven, but mine actually was. We loved each other far beyond all rational measure. As a wedding gift, my sister gave us a gift certificate to a place neither of us... More

Saved by Caroline, a wonderful masseuse, my knots are gone! Already booked my next one. Also, Alex does a fabulous facial - I look ten years younger when I leave there!

The people are what keep me coming back to Nouvelle Maria Spa year after year: professional, accommodating and friendly. No other spa in Toronto can match Maria and her staff's level of caring service. This is the best full pedicure around (and relaxing paraffin wax sooo soothing) and worth every penny-a treat for sure.

I have been coming to Nouvelle Spa over the past 12 years. It is centrally located at King & Yonge area, inside the beautiful King Edward hotel just 5 mins across from where I work in the financial district. The spa is a place where I can relax and rejuvenate after a stressful day or week after work. The staff here... More

My wife and I had a night out in the city and stayed at the luxurious King Edward's hotel in downtown Toronto. We decided to get a couple's massgae and booked at the hotels spa. We arrived in our bath robes (which by the way you can purchase from the hotel -you will know why once your wear them) ready... More

I have been coming to the Novelle Maria Spa for a few years to visit a masseuse who also works at the Park Hyatt. While the facilities at the Park Hyatt are definitely nicer, the same massage is almost twice the price! I'm happy to keep returning to the Novelle Maria Spa for excellent service.

This was my first time visiting Nouvelle Maria, and my first massage. It was wonderful! Mark gave me a great massage, and relieved a lot of soreness and tension I had been feeling. The full body Swedish massage did just the trick. Although I agree with some reviews that the facility doesn't look particularly new, it was clean, quiet, and... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
