I was thinking of skipping this show completely. However, friends recommended it; I am glad they did. Yes, there was a lot of dancing; however, the plot and the characters added so much. Just when I thought that the rest of the show was predictable...More

We went the theater to see Strictly Ballroom, It was good but not outstanding. A simple plot with poorer dancing than we expected. There is not really a bad seat in the house and parking in the garage off John St for $15 is great

Truly a delightful show. Wonderful dancing, music and costumes. Grand old theater in downtown Toronto.

Saw Strictly Ballroom, a live musical based on the movie of the same name. The Dress Circle has slightly lower prices but the sound quality and sight lines were excellent. Bathrooms were not crowded, at least for the gents. It doesn't hurt that the play...More

This is an awesome show. I've seen it twice now and it has only been in Toronto for 1 week. Enjoyed it even more the second time. Rico is my love!!

Lovely theatre. We had great seats in orchestra row 19. Great seats but would be nice if there was more legroom. One of the problems of being tall, but seats are quite comfortable. Theatre is easy to get in and out of.

We picked this show simply because it seemed the more interesting than the other shows going on at the time. I found the production to be very entertaining which made the time go fast. The dancing was fairly good, the singing was good and I...More

Theatre has excellent sound, good viewing from virtually every seat, pleasant ushering, and great space in each foyer, plus elevator, and clean large washrooms.

Intimate, older theatre. Helpful, courteous ushers and beverage staff. Comfy seats. The show was wonderful! Fran (Gemma Sutton) has an incredible voice, just beautiful! All the other actors played their roles perfectly!

What is the dress code for the theatre? We are only using carry on luggage and I am wondering if I need another pair of shoes in addition to my tennis shoes?

As far as I remember, there is just popcorn, candy and icecream bars sold. We have taken in snacks because of the childrens allergies and there never has been a problem.

Parking is in City lots - best way? park at a subway station and take the subway - so much easier and stress free - 2 block walk from the St. Andrew (King St W) subway station
