The College has started a once per month Pub Night held on a Friday evening. Each evening has a theme. The first Pub Night was Scottish and the second was Acadian. The entertainment on both evenings was EXCELLENT! The venue has a bar (wine, beer and mixed drinks). There is no food service. We are already looking forward to the... More

We were hoping for more than just a single display case. While this bagpipe was truly an important piece of history, we were interested to learn more about the pipes as a whole.

As a piper, it has been on my personnal list to spend a week at the school since a long time. I have read /heard about the reputation of the school and their teachers. Now that my son is piping as well, the timing was perfect to spend one week in one of them classes. The total experienced was way... More

We thoroughly enjoyed the excellent musicians, dancers and singers who put on a high-energy show that included a great variety of music, dance and instrumentation. Professional and extraordinarily entertaining. The only very minor negative, seating could be more comfortable.

Great little shop with a lot of nice items, helpful staff and a lot of history on Scottish piping, etc.

We stopped here to give my sister-in-law and brother-in-law from Texas a taste of Celtic music and dance. We were very impressed by the three 16 year old students who demonstrated piping, drumming, and dance. They told us about the history of each and also performed for us.

If you are on PEI during the summer you simply must go to see the performances held here. The talent, variety and energy of the performances is unsurpassed in my option. You are seated in a well protected open air theatre on benches so maybe bring a pillow for your tush but otherwise we were quite comfortable. We purchased seats... More

We went to the College to see one of their daily mini concerts. There were 3 young people (one dancer, one bag piper and one drummer) that spoke about each of their specific areas and then gave sample dances/songs and then did one sample all together. It was wonderful. It was very interesting to hear about the bag pipes as... More

There was 30 minutes of good piping which is enough even if you are Scottish. But if the schedule does not work it is worth a stop for the store! My daughter bought celtic earrings for $15, I bought an excellent bagpiping COWS t-shirt and a hilarious hat. Fun Scottish experience and it wasn't too dear. Worth a stop on... More

We really enjoyed the Highland Storm performance by the students and faculty at the College of Piping. The show included bagpiping, highland dancing, step dancing, and singing. This was a briskly paced show that moved from act to act seamlessly - obviously a well-rehearsed group. And it was a nice mix of traditional and contemporary music and styles. It's a... More
