Old Montreal is where we spent most of our trip during this early January. There is lots to see and look around, especially all of the old buildings and those close to the water. There was lots of snow on the ground but the city...More

We went in the dead of winter but walking through Old Montreal was still beautiful. There were lots of tourists and souvenir shops as well as great places to eat!

This place has a lot of history and the cobblestone streets with old buildings transport you back in time. However most of the restaurants are mediocre at best and cater to large crowds and tour groups, a lot of the shops are just overpriced souvenirs....More

This is a must-see part of the city for all of the right reasons. We visited in February 2016 and March 2017 and enjoyed walking around and exploring the cobblestone streets (make sure to bundle up!). One thing to note: many restaurants and shops close...More

Old Montreal is truly Europeanesque with its cobblestone streets, architecture, French language and close spaces. It is the highlight of Montreal and greedily hordes a lot of the city's (by no means all though) interesting sites. A visit is easy, comfortable and a time travel....More

The historic centre of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to
some of the city's most antiquated buildings and

Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums,
festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a
celebrated part of the city that explodes into

We went to upstairs jazz bar and grill expecting to catch a late show at around 10pm and it was just finishing up. Living in NYC spoils us :) - may want to check the times but looks like a great venue!
