Be prepared to walk some stairs before you enter the church, but once you're in, there are escalators and elevators for every floor. The chapel, church, and "candle hallway" were very beautiful. And because the church is so high up the mountain, you have a...More

This was one of the most beautiful, peaceful places we visited in Montreal. It was truly breathtaking. There are several gift shops with items in all price ranges, and we were advised our purchases could be blessed afterwards by a priest, which we did. My...More

Nothing had prepared us for the sheer size and impressiveness of this Oratory. There was so much to see. It was a bit eerie exploring the building using escalators and lifts - but we were glad they had them. Splendid stained glass, and carving in...More

I've been many times. Because religious and for an appreciation of architecture. You won't visit many places like this. It's cavernous and visaully stunning. Great views of Montreal and surrounding area. Food is pretty good.

We decided to visit the church by climbing up the stairs to the top. The beautiful cathedral ceilings gives a heavenly feel to the building. There are various sections and is very peaceful. Wasn't too crowded during our visit.

This is a really nice church with picturesque view on top. The best part is, it's free! Plus, you get to learn the history of St. Joseph. There are nice souvenir items you can buy inside at a fair price.

Parc du Mont-Royal
Montreal was named for this hilly highland, where the

parkland. The greenspace of Parc du Mont-Royal is an
outdoorsman's dream, with hiking trails and nature

In the winter, cross-country skiers, tobogganers, and
ice skaters don their equipment by Beaver Lake and its

Gps led us to a place where there was no charge. I'm not sure what entrance you are referring to. We did not have a charge.
