As a photographer, I'm always looking for good places to shoot. This cemetery did NOT disappoint. With over 65,000 graves and 1 million internments, it was a site to behold. There's even a life sized replica of Michael Angelo's Pietà in one of the mausoleums....More

This is a place where most people are getting buried in Montreal. In it is difficult to find land these days. You might want to venture to witness the rites of the citizens. Sorry no Zombies

It's not a good event that has brought us here once again but it sure is a nice choice for a final resting place. Beautiful and serene.

Spent three hours exploring this cemetery looking for graves of loved ones buried here. It's a massive maze and somewhat hard to locate graves even if you have the section and plot numbers. I'm not sure how often the grass is cut but in all...More

The cemetery is very quiet and clean. The chapel is tiny, would not suggest come here just to walk around unless you happen to walk by after a stroll off Mount Royal.

In the winter, cross-country skiers, tobogganers, and
