It was lovely to stroll around and admire the architecture. Fell in love with it. A day was not enough to take it all in.

A pleasant square built on a hill down to the waterfront. Full of eating places and shops and the occasional busker. Nelson's column dominates the top end of the square. Nice but really nothing special.

This is a really nice walking area in Old Montreal. It feels very European. There are vendors, street performers, restaurants, and shops. At night the city projects a movie for kids onto the side of one of the buildings. There's lots to do here.

Not much to see here although Nelson’s Column is impressive. The square is lined with restaurants and tourist shops. It’s a nice place to eat out and people watch. That’s about it as it’s essentially a tourist hub.

Loved this square. It's the central area of Old Montreal. It's got fun restaurants, a nice square, some great outdoors walking and other sites. Worth a visit.
