I always use this bridge when entering into the city. It is also the safest bridge. During the grand prix this bridge is right next to the track and you can see and hear the cars. You can't walk across this bridge but you can certainly enjoy its beauty.

In a city that seems to be under total re-construction, this bridge proved to be the most reliable access to downtown. Though direction to/from downtown is controlled during rush hour, it can save hours off your travel time. It's also an interestingly built bridge, and also offers a great view on the city.

Victoria bridge is steeped in history. It is also one of the safest bridges connecting Montreal with the South Shore.. Obviously it is not somewhere you can walk as it is working bridge and there are no footpath. It is also a train bridge which sees a lot of trafficoperated by Canadian National Railway. Keep in mind Victoria bridge is... More

This bridge, which is inaugurated for the Queen Victoria Jubilee (1887) is still standing good. Because it is made entirely of steel, including the floor of the roadway, many motorist still take it every day to cross the St-Lawrence River, while the much more expensive Champlain Bridge made in the 60s is about to be replaced. Traffic is only one... More

This is an old bridge in Montreal, but don't let this stop you -this bridge is continuously maintained by CN and those that say it is in sad shape do not know what they are talking about and are spreading false rumours - you can research the work being done on the bridge - it has a great view of... This is a very old bridge in Montreal. IT has some amazing views and has a view that allows you to see the river under the car(passengers should look only). THis structure is reportedly over one hundred years but actually is very solidly built. The best part is that you get a really awesome view of the city. Not that... More

I cross this bridge every day. Dated 1854-59, at the time it was built, the Victoria Bridge ranked as one of the most daring structures of its day.
