This is one awesome rock climbing place. The Employees are very friendly and thought me a little French too! The best wall to climb was nicknamed "The Monster" I do recommend this place if your in Montreal and want to have an interior workout!

It's quite big, there is room for everybody and every skill level. We used to go there a lot for bouldering. We also went there once as a 18-person group, we had our private walls and place to eat.

We visited Roc Climbing Center in August of 2004. It was a little hard to find. We ended up asking a local for directions (turned out we were right next to it, but the building is not well marked). We took a group lesson that lasted 1.5hr. The lesson includes equipment rental (no shoes and no chalk, just the harness,... More

This HUGE indoor climbing center is located just 10-15 minutes from Montreal's downtown area. Great top rope routes as well as several large bouldering areas. Freindly atmosphere and a wide range of skill levels from begginners to very skilled climbers that train here during the winter months. Staff and members are always eager to provide tips and recommend more challenging... More

Staying in Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)

Neighbourhood Profile
Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)
Named for the Olympic Stadium complexes built for the 1976 games, the Olympic Park and the surrounding neighbourhood of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa) make up an invigorated area dedicated to "Space for Life." Around the Olympic Village's arenas and stadiums, Rue Sherbrooke welcomes exploration of its sculpture gardens decorated in the works of Jean-Paul Riopelle and its museum culture headed by the historical Château Dufresne. Maisonneuve Park offers interactive experiences at its bio-dome, insectarium, planetarium, and botanical gardens. For a change of scene, the gentrified space along Rue Ontario Est is packed with the city's newest, edgiest cafes, where an imaginative, youthful crowd sips foamy cappuccinos. A visit here is incomplete without stepping into the vast halls of the Maisonneuve Market, with flower stalls, wine depots, and local produce.
