We just missed the holy doors being opened the week before. This is a very nice church and even though the holy doors were not open it was still nice to see them as they are the only ones in North America. If you’re in the area it’s worth a stop to have a look inside, there is no admission... More

Beautiful, I have visited other Notre Dame churches in the world and this one is probably not as nice as the others (architecturally speaking). Still a very nice place to visit and pray.

We went to the church for mass. The basilica is gorgeos, absolutely beautiful. It has several little chapels for praying.

This is a fantastic piece of architecture, without an argument. Quite frankly, however - with me being from the Baltimore/ Washington, D.C. area - it wasn't all too spectacular by my "standards". Nevertheless, the Cathedral is certainly worth a visit, if you are touring Old Town Québec.

So beautiful! A must see. Beautiful Catholic art. Prayerful atmosphere. Set in old town Quebec. A 3 minute walk from the Chateau Frontenac. Volunteers will show you around. Saint François de Laval is interred there.

We have visited this cathedral on our short trip to Quebec city. If I recall properly, we were allowed to go inside even without paying any entrance fee. Tip: Make sure you visit the place while no mass is taking place otherwise you might be rejected to enter (of course, unless you are christian).

After a long day of travel to this gem of a city, we ducked into this cathedral near the Chateau Frontenac..What a place of beauty to behold. Within minutes we felt totally refreshed. We returned for Sunday Mass even though we are Protestants. A place of worship that is unsurpassed.

I'm not particularly religious and yet I love church art and architecture. This is a bright jewel of a place - beautiful, peaceful and very elegant. There are displays all round the church (bi-lingual) which tell the story of the City and the Cathedral. Excellent.
