We love museums and this one is in a beautiful building and a beautiful location. We still enjoyed it but for a middle-aged couple there is not much to see here. There is an exhibit of protests throughout the past decades in various countries. Very...More

Spent a couple of hours at the museum. It is a mixture of various exhibitions which are well put together. My kids enjoyed the one on cats and dogs and I loved the rooms on the First Nations of Canada which I found very moving.

This museum is an excellent rainy-day activity, as it was for us, but go even if it's not raining. Well-presented exhibits of Quebec history and much more. Also a good cafe for lunch!

Depending on what you want to see, the museum can be slightly uninteresting. Some displays and such were very eyecatching and beautiful but others were slightly boring.

The museum had unusual exhibits such as the cat and dog exhibit which was fun and interesting to experience. There was much information about the history of the province. We spent over 2 hours and could have easily spent more time in the museum.

Yes. There is a coat check on the main floor, right near the ticket counter. You can't miss it.
