Walking these streets while covered in snow makes the trip very cute. Take a quick tour and it will make the whole town even more enjoyable.

Old Quebec City is divided in the upper and lower cities. Both are amazing, but the Basse-ville has so many shops, restaurants, churches and art galleris

We were down here during Christmas and really enjoyed it. It's near Petite-Champlain but also easy to miss (so don't!). Very worth a stroll during the day or a dinner at night.

One of the nicest areas I have ever been at Xmas. Crowded because of holidays but so worth a visit any time of year. Very small area easy to see in a afternoon.

Was very nice here during the winter holidays. There are lights and garland set up everywhere. They also had a warming station set up and palaces to take holiday pictures. A must see during the winter holidays!

Lower town has a much more european feel and is older. Also there are no cars on most of the streets making walking around more enjoyable. Lots of great places to eat drink and shop.

It is amazing at Christmas to tour Basse-Ville! The Christmas decorations, beautiful architecture, fun shops as well as restaurants combine for a festive and historic atmosphere. Do not miss 'Basse-Ville" while visiting Old Quebec!

Don't let the rain (or snow) deter you. The city, with its narrow streets and cobblestones, and hilliness becomes a reflective canvas, with sparkles of light from many sources. It can be quite magical to be out and about.
