Cute Local Farmers Market

This is worth the effort to get to (20-25 min walk in the snow from Marriott Downtown). Lots of fresh produce, bread etc and seasonal crafts around Christmas time.

A great locals market with a emphasis on food of all sorts there is an amazing spice shop selling a vast range. The maple syrup sold by producer retailers is a fraction of the price you see elsewhere even supermarkets.

During our trip to Quebec we wanted to visit the Market. We visited on a Sunday morning. A lovely place to visit. It's obvious the local's frequent this place a lot. The market has a good variety of shops that sell flowers, herbs and plants. Great fresh seafood and various speciality food available. The oriental Spice Store is a must... More

We went here around 10am in April hoping to grab breakfast and shop. There was only one shop selling any kind of baked goods and their is a run down market cafe that made some killer breakfast sandwiches. Many of the shops were closed and outside of maple syrup there was not much to shop for. I suspect this is... More

This is a place you do not want to miss. Although it was early April and not as busy and full of stalls as it will get, there was plenty to see & do. We probably were fortunate with the inclement weather as we were able to easily get a table in the food area. There are produce stands, meat... More

The market is fun to explore with lots of nice local goodies, but the 5-star rating is mainly for the bakery in the middle called Praline et Chocolat, which has excellent macaroons in a variety of creative flavor combinations.

Came here today with family on recommendation of our hotel manager. Great local food--cheeses, pates, meats, sausages, fish, breads, pastries, etc, maple products (fudge, candy, popcorn), wines, ciders, etc. Most of the vendors are helpful and quite lovely. The lone exception was the vendor selling fresh sausage to the left stall as you enter the market. Answered in a haughty/irritated... More

This was a great way to spend a few hours in Quebec! We were here in the winter and there was still a great selection of stands. Lots of delicious cheeses and fresh baked bread. We ended up picking up some meats as well to do our own charcuterie and it was fantastic. A good selection of desserts as well,... More

It was a little hard to find, its located behind the paid parking lot where you see the sign, we paid parking and then found the market behind us. Enjoyed brunch at La Cuisine du Marche inside the market very tasty. Produce, fresh pasta, meats, wine gift baskets, coffee, gifts great place to check out.
