This is a tiny little museum, and it is a bit out of the way, but I found it quite interesting. I enjoyed seeing the uniforms, and I always like when a museum tells personal stories of actual people (instead of just "the soldiers did this" type of thing).

Some interesting displays. But if you don't have a specific interest in WWII or naval history I am sure you would like it. The limited amount of displays were well done. Nice view of the industrial side of the harbor. I liked it but I am interested in WWII.

We had heard of this museum and wanted to visit. It was in a bit of an obscure location but we spotted a man in uniform and he directed us to it. It gave us a new perspective of the role of the Canadian navy during WW1 and WW2.

This is very tiny with limited displays. Very disappointing that the information plaque about "Human Cost of War" mentions military casualties and civilian casualties, but clearly doesn't include any mention of the Holocaust. Very insensitive.

I made a trip to the Naval Museum of Canada today. It was a bad sign that it was difficult to find for a start. But it was totally not what I expected, it was simply a number walls with a printing documentary dating back to the Iroquois times. Occasionally there were a few model ships, some old weapons and... Great location - right on the water in the old city but stuck in a boring naval reserve building. However inside are some very professional, bilingual displays on the role centuries of naval warfare affected people in Quebec. Some moving personal artifacts help tell the big picture. Very interesting lighting. Not many inter-actives but some good use of video.
