More of a triangle really, but just a large concrete space. A few trees. A nice statue of 6 women on the west side. A good space for concerts and fairs. but not a destination unless attending one of these.

we visited this place several times during our visit-it was just outside our hotel (Mariott) and featured live music and performers free in a street like setting at selected days and times

They have the best pizza in the world. Service was amazing and friendly. Wait time is very short. Simple menu and great seating.

I visit Quebec at least three times a year. This is a must visit every time. Nice to go sit and watch others enjoying life. A cup of coffee and friends/family and conversation.Buskers, skaters (depending on time of year).

It is a nice place on this corner, you have the Palais Montcalm where you have musical shows, in front, you have the Capitols for shows too, you have the ice circle to skate, it is very nice there with all the lights everywhere. It is fun too during summer!

The skating risk was well maintained and very smooth but was a bit small. There is a heated indoor area where you can rent skates and change as well.

At Place d'Youville a free public skate is available in the winter. The ice is well maintained with underground coolers and a zambonie. There is a heated indoor area where you can put on skates and store boots, as well as rent skates for a fee. The area is well lit at night making for a scenic skate.

Our family had a very enjoyable time walking around Place d'Youville square. There was always some sort of event going on, with live music, which my daughters enjoyed. Place d'Youville is the entrance into the old part of Quebec City, which makes it a very popular place, but if you are in the area, definitely stop by to walk around.
