The Theatre Petit Champlain has been a part of Quebec’s cultural landscape for many years. Since it’s opening in the XIX century, the Theatre Petit Champlain hosts mostly theater productions. Later on, in 1994, the Theater became the first Maison de la Chanson and started to welcome a lot of local musical artists. Lately, we added more diversity to our upcoming events ; we also welcome stand-up comics!

We decided to stop in to the bar for a drink. It is situated in a lovely square on a bustling street, with musicians often performing very nearby. Unfortunately, the drinks were a bit of a bust. The beer was good but served in a plastic cup. My wife ordered a glass of wine, which was decent, but also served... More

We stumbled upon Theatre Petit Champlain in Quebec City. Anyone who has been to Quebec City knows about the hills and a continuous laneways filled with cafes, shops and buskers. After walking most of the day we found a beautiful park in the middle of old Quebec City. We pulled up a chair and had a few cold sodas. It... More

We went into the restaurant and sat by the open window on the square because there were so many smokers outside. We ordered a glass of wine and found the serving size to be very small and the cost very high.

We came across this picturesque square in the old city, with a cute little outdoor seating area. It was like a Paris street scene out of an old movie. We had a gypsy guitar player, a little breeze, and a bottle of wine. We could have stayed for hours.

I saw Ghost preform here in May 2013. It is a fantastic venue for music! Small, intimate and fab sound!

About 250 seats, perfect when you want an intimate show, close to the artists. In the heart of Old Québec, just perfect!
