Short Staffed & Stocked
We dined at Union Station and attended 2 concerts twice in one week at Casino Regina. It is very apparent that Casino Regina is short staffed everywhere. The meals weren't great and the bars were understocked and understaffed. The bars offered limited cooler choices and what you could get at one bar you could not always get at another. Casino Regina is still undergoing improvements, even after the 2 year COVID restrictions, when that would have been the ideal time to finish the reno's.

Nobody ever wins anything here anymore
This has to one of the worst casinos in Canada. Nobody wins there anymore and the customer service is horrible. Better off to drive to one of the SIGA casinos, your money will at least last longer. I'm pretty sure if it wasn't government run it would be way better I'm sure. Seriously nobody ever cares if you have a bad experience. Hopefully there will be some competition one day soon , that would definitely help. The payouts on machines are atrocious. I never really expect to win on slots but it's not even slightly enjoyable there anymore. I lose 10 - 15 times in a row now, and fast. This used to be a decent casino for years, but that was many years ago now.

Not Impressed
The casino was small. It was hard to imagine at full scale where they would table games and poker. It is aesthetically pleasing the use of the old train station works to its advantage.

I feel sorry for anyone and everyone that has went to this casino and lost their money beyond having fun. Save your money. Keep it for yourself. Hopefully casinos are a thing of the past one day.

What Happend to this Casino
I have not been here for a few years and honestly it will be a few more years. I understand Covid, but there appeared no system to what machines on and off. Doing construction so people are walking right by you, no six feet there. The restaurant is closed so you have to go to the snack bar...a wow super expensive $12.50 for just a hamburger, and the pop is a kiddie size and you pay full price, Overall very disappointed.

Nice Casino
Easy to navigate through the gaming floor. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had the buffet. The food was good. It was rather expensive for what was being offered. At best it was a 10.95 buffet.

Smorgasbord
My husband & I enjoy the entertainment at Casino in Regina with friends. We always dine in the Last Spike prior to the concert. Because the restaurant is closed for renovations, the casino offers a smorgasbord. We tried the smorgasbord and were all very disappointed with the food, not a great selection (sloppy gravy stuff). Considering it is $20/pp, one would expect a nice roast beef, turkey or pork meal with the fixings.

Supper
Solo
After spending a few hours playing here, I decided to take a break and eat some supper.
Their main restaurant-The Last Spike was closed for renovations.
They offered a buffet on their second level.
Going up to it I was surprised to hear the cost was 20.00 a person.
I decided to give it a try as from past experience I know their food is very good.
The buffet was tasty, however, not terribly warm and definitely not worth 20.00.
I’ll wait for the restaurant to open before dining there again.

Casino getaway
Took many trips to the Casino from the hotel. Was blown away by number and types of machines I had never seen before. Enjoyed playing even when not wi nning.
