Learning about the world for young and old with lots of prehistoric displays. Native Saskatchewan plants and First Nation displays take you back in time. I have visited it many times over the years.

Want to know about Saskatchewans wildlife and First Nations culture, then this is a place you must visit. The wildlife dioramas are among the best in the world., while the cultural displays bring to life the rich traditions of the original inhabitants of the Province.

The museum is a very good one for a small city. Good for the whole family. Only payment required is if you care to leave donation on your way out. Has a very nice gift shop with a lot of local items .

Wildlife exhibits are always my favorite things at museums and I have to admit that the displays at the Royal Saskatchewan are the best I've ever seen, better than the Smithsonians in Washington, DC. I was quite impressed and mesmerized by the displays. And you can't beat the price, which is a free will offering.

Admission is by donation, but I always put a fair amount in the drop box. Staff are friendly, exhibits are fairly impressive, and the Paleo Pit (kids area) when open, is a game changer. There is enough detail to every exhibit that my toddlers can always see something new and exciting every time we go. If you are on a... More

This is a must do when in Regina! The exhibits are well planned and educate about Saskatchewan's history and landscape. The dinosaur section keeps our kids wanting to return at every opportunity. We have seen live exhibits showing the life cycle of frogs and recently snakes. This museum is well curated!

You can drive by this building and not even really notice it. It's not a grand building such as the louvre but it does have character . The dioramas of animals native to Saskatchewan are well done. The fossil exhibit is small but for a family of small kids it's good. The exhibit regarding indigenous people could be better lite.... More
