My son's favourite place in Saskatoon

A must see in Saskatoon. My son gets us to take him there 3 or 4 times a year! Great staff and totally authentic buildings and automobiles. Great annual train show as well!

Love this museum - the best in the city! Be sure to have lunch in the cafe - best cinnamon buns around.

Hi Tanya, Thank you for the great review! So glad you enjoyed your visit and had an opportunity to check out the homemade cinnamon buns! Did you get an opportunity to play Boomtown Pursuit? There's always a lot happening at the WDM be sure to check it out at wdm.ca or visit us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Kerry More

This was a wonderful trip back in time. Great displays which interested the men and women both. Lots of cool places for photo ops including in the train engine. A relaxing museum with the fun of the hunt for a robber included.

We have been to the WDM many times and different seasons. My oldest is now 13 and she still enjoys going to the museum. It has something for everyone and is still exciting even the 10th and 11th time! The Christmas exhibit is my absolute favourite.

A very interesting and wonderful place to visit. It has a great turn of the 20th century town built in timely inside to tour and explore at your own speed. It has a large display of bygone farm machines and steam engines. Also there are a few old cars, for car buffs. The restaurant serves great food, especially the home... More

We took friends from Arizona who liked it so much they wanted to go back for another day. Very interesting indoor display of what life was like in the years around 1910 when Saskatoon was being settled. Highly recommended.

We were lucky enough to be there for Pioneer Days and had a great time! We would have enjoyed the museum even if this special event weren't going on. The museum and staff are wonderful and fun!

It is a great place to see how the lives used to be lived when the old country side was beginning. From the way we lived on the prairies and the start of the new farm equipment to the beginning of the automobile. The trains that brought most folks to our region and the stores and offices that we originally... More
