Went here with our grandson. He had fun looking at the animals and running along the paths. We were there late in the season so some of the displays were shutdown. Still has fun.

Great outing! During the winter months they do not charge admissions, rather take a donation. Lots of animals, cougars. If going at winter, dress warmly, the paths are snow covered!

This is a perfect place for the entire family. In the summer there is a wonderful zoo, the playground is huge, well set up, a fishing pond is also on the grounds. Beautiful trails, amazing flower gardens.

We go to the Firestry Farm at least 3 times a year. Our (mine) favourite time is to go during off season, the animals are more awake and interactive when they don’t have the summer heat to contend with and also it’s free thing to...More

I was impressed by how many animals they had at the zoo. Would love to know how they got the animals though and whether or not this a research or rescue farm. If not, the cages could be bigger.

Signage was terrible couldn't find information good enough to have a good experience. We felt there wasn't many animals to see and no one to ask.

Wonderful exhibits. A great place to take children. As well as seeing the animals the children have a park area to play.

Every time we go to the zoo my grandchildren are discovering and understanding more and more about animals and nature. The zoo is within a nice forested area so there are trees nestled along the fantastic pathways. Its a definite favorite place of all our...More

As far as I know, most animals are rescues and even though they have been rehabilitated, cannot be returned to the wild due to their dependence on us for care and feeding. This is the case for the eagles and grizzly bears... More
