Very interesting touring this boat from long ago and to see what they loaded and where they slept for the trips between Whitehorse and Dawson City. One-two days up and 4-5 days back (against the current). Our 15-yo grandson found it interesting so that says...More

Short film and tour of the boat - both really interesting and well worth a visit. Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly.

We showed up to this place about 30mins after they opened. It's free to go onto the ship, but there was a 2$ self guided tour pamphlet you could buy. We opt out of it, but when we got into the boat we realized there...More

We really enjoyed touring the SS Klondike. Lots to see, well preserved and presented. We lucked out by being there when there was a great interpreter available. Could have talked with him for hours. Really recommend this stop.

A video tells you about the ship and its past. Then you can climb onboard and wander around. It is on land - not water now - but played such a huge role in Yukon life not so long ago.

Make sure to watch the video in tent adjacent first, gives a lot of good background information on the paddle wheelers that makes your tour of the boat more interesting. Well set up and displayed, interesting to tour, definitely recommend stopping.
