Went there on the recommendation of an interview in BBC Radio Devon with an RSPB person who said that there was a spoonbill to be seen. 200 - 300 yard walk from the neatest parking, but a well equipped hide with warden, coffee and settees!...More

Situated down a long narrow lane, only 2 disabled parking spaces nearby, closest parking is road parking a few hundred metres up the lane, new hide, large viewing windows overlooking tidal pools, super views of curlew, black tailed godwits, spoonbill, green sandpiper.

There is a board with the more common birds to be seen, but all the other people there were more than happy to share their knowledge and point out widgeon, curlew, godwits etc. Great views. Easy access. Fantastic for children.

A fantastic to visit and watch the wild fowl, brilliant for winter visitors, a loo would be a great idea.
