The ideal weather on our visit meant we managed to collect some great photo's. The nearby church is very picturesque and was used in the first Christmas commercial by Coca Cola. The bridge next to the Monument means you can wander over the border into...More

Loved the fact that the border is just a short walk across the bridge or over the frozen lake with stunning views either way.

Great photo opportunity, if you can read it. It was mostly covered in snow😄 Right outside the tourist information on the Swedish side. The cafe inside the tourist info is great . Lovely hot chocolate!

Went for a 4 nights break with transit. Stayed at arctic star hotel. It's right at the border from Finland and you are in the village of karesuando. Some day was -27 so cover up as you are freezing while walking.

Covered in snow but you might be able to make out your local capital city. London and Athens are visible at the bottom. On the other side of the road is a sign to the North Pole Camp, just 400km away. Good photo opportunity.

Great Experience at this site where the river runs between 2 countries. Amazing scenery over frozen river. The mounument has distance and direction written of several countries.
