Sierra de las nieves is a very green and hilly part of Andalucia. It has good and marked hiking trails so it is easy to find an adequate hike to get into this beautiful nature reserve.

Took a route through this natural park on the way to Ronda. It's a great drive with stunning scenery, view points and wildlife. At one stop we had a vulture (I think) circling overhead. Would like to spend more time exploring on foot one day

Never seen a vulture, with a two meter wingspan? An ibex? Ever wanted to drive around more corners,...More

Sierra de las Nieves offers a myriad of hiking trails and natural areas. We chose to go straight for its highest peak—"Torrecilla"—which also happens to be the second highest peak in the Malaga area, at 1,919 metres high. The beginning of this trail can be...More

Not sure about guide books, but this website has all the trails you could possibly find in the world and all the information one would need on them! Search Wikiloc on Google. Also, there will normally be a sign with a map... More
