Approaching the Cathedral I was impressed. It is stunning and the Cathedral itself once inside is massive. On the day I was there I could not walk around as they were doing maintenance work around the grounds.

A must see if you are in the region. A simply astonishing piece of medieval architecture in what looks like the middle of nowhere.

One of the most impressive monasteries in the region of Telavi. Lots of history, and a magnificient landscape around the monastery, including a nice vineyard.

A large cathedral which was quite grand in terms of the backdrop of the Caucasus mountains as well as the grounds which are quite large. Lots of good photo ops and very interesting keeping the mountains as the backdrop.
