Go early to avoid crowds. Peaceful little island. Escape the main section and just explore down little Alleys. Each corner was another scene of colour

Spent a lovely couple of hours here (half a day). Got the boat over and back, streets are lovely and colourful. Had some food, went to a glass making show. A lovely day out!

a must see charming island. you can do a day trip from Venice to Burano. streets are lined up with boutique shops. We ate chocolate crepes that my kids are still revving about.

We are in Venice now. The water taxis or vaporettos have inside and outside space. The taxis run every 12 mins all round the island. You can buy a 3 day or 7 day tickets the 3 day is 40 euros each the one day is 20 so better... More
