We truly enjoyed our time at Sumeg Castle. Inside in the small cafe we had chimney bread and it was some of the best in all of Hungary. Make sure to try it as I will not disappoint!

Nice castle with a number of shows. I particularly enjoyed the falcon show where the falconier explained how the falcons were trained. There is a nice Csarda outdoor restaurant with traditional Hungarian food) close by.

Very good organization of the tour with a lot of restaured parts of the castle and with numerous activities for children. I definetely recommend for a day trip coupled with the restaurant and other activitiea that are placed at the bottom of the castle hill.
Worth to visit if you are in this area. Be prepared to climb a little bit before reaching the castle. Good activity if you kids.
Access: Castle is easily accesible by car. Parking was free of charge even close to the Castle. Program: There is some entry fee for the Castle, but it worth. Building is in pretty good shape, with lots of interesting programs for small kids, including weapons...More
