If.you want an experience a bit away from Copenhagen in wonderful locations go to Hempels Glass Museum. Located with a magnificent view to the fjord in tranquil surroundings. And lots to see, if you like glasart. Sometimes they have other exibitions. If you go you must try the restaurant....sit outside on the terrasse and get coffee, wine or Lunch. Heavenly

The museum is not big, but it is very nice. Display area are well thought through. Exhibitions cover old glass work as well as modern art work with glass and it is really nice. Great location, good view over the bay, the museum was ok, but not something I would travel to from far, but if in the area it is ok. we went there for trying their buffet, me and some Family members. The buffet was good until I wanted a piece of roasted pork, in the meat I saw a big fat... More

Situated beautifully just south of Nykøbing Sjælland you'll find the Glassmuseum. The building itself is remarkable and worth a visit just as it is.
