Great Long Beach with Crazy Waves!

This beach is worth the long drive! It's nearly empty with crazy waves! A real adventure! You should go! Not the standard - something special!

Great bay, only few people, but very clean, nice waves; as it is located in Terres Basses at the bottom of the hill and between posh 5* Samanna hotel and private villas (that go as a long row closing by themselves an access to the beach), you should seek for narrow path to the beach. But then you're well rewarded... More

This seems to be the most beautiful beach on the island (with maybe the exception of Pinel Island). It is a wide and deep sandy beach with lots of places to swim on sandy bottoms (vs. rocky bottoms frequently found elsewhere on St Martin). Be forewarned: you need to bring your own everything here as there is only beach. Chairs,... More

We have been to many places and this ranks in our top 15 beaches. Lots of space and not too many locals pushing their items on you. Great hand rolled cigar shop just off the cruise port. It was our second time here and not our last.

As it has been pointed out in other review, there is no shade in this beach, which can become a challenge during these hot summer days. The sea is very rocky so it's not at all the best beach to swim or play in the water (I'd recommend Mullet Bay for that). However, snorkling can be good, much more so... More

Beautiful but lots of rock to cross over to get in the water. No chair rental or beach bar. Make the trip if you have a car just to see the blue water.

This beach was long and beautiful. Went there on a snorkeling excursion for swimming. Water was so blue and warm.

It's hidden in a private residence area. The beach has no chairs and umbrellas unless you staying in the hotel down the private street. It has beautiful sand but some parts are rocky. If you have your own chairs and umbrella it's great and very quiet not populated.

Baie Longue is the most gorgeous, quiet beach I have ever visited. The sand is powder and the views to Saba and Anguilla are breathtaking. Don't miss this on a trip to St Martin.
