Pricey bar, but good theatre

We went to see Stewart Lee in May 2017. The seating is reasonably comfortable, with enough leg room. There's just about enough of a slope to see the stage clearly, but if tall... read more

We visited the Churchill theatre to watch the Buddy Holly matinee today, we were resigned to the drinks and snacks costing a small fortune (£5 for two packets of large M&Ms) but it was frustrating to find out that booster seats for children cost £5 per child to use. Apparently patrons have to buy the booster seat to keep and... More

We went to see Stewart Lee in May 2017. The seating is reasonably comfortable, with enough leg room. There's just about enough of a slope to see the stage clearly, but if tall people sit in front, or you are with children, it could be tricky. The bar is quite good, with great staff, but quite expensive (£14 for two... More

It had been a while since we had been to this theatre, but on this occasion I found that service had improved. We had seats in the stalls and as my husband is disabled we have to use the lift. We went for drinks first of all and there were vacant seats in the bar so therefore, we could have... More

we went to watch soul legends the other Saturday and what a very enjoyable night we all had the atmosphere was great with nearly everyone in the place up and dancing by the end of the show .my only grumble was the price for a bottle of very basic supermarket wine at £22.00 which we then had to drink out... After living in Bromley for 22 years I finally went to he Churchill Theatre. What a lovely surprise, comfortable seats, excellent view from the circle. We went to see The Ronnie Scott Story and it as very good, great entertainment. The tickets are very reasonable compared to the West End and a lot of West End shows have been on... More

Have attended this theatre twice in last few months. Seating is very comfortable and plenty of room for my husbands legs. Normally have to request an aisle seat to accommodate his knee problems but here it is not necessary. Smallish theatre so rather "cosy" and friendly. Icecreams are expensive. £4 each .This seems too high and i will do without... More

Attended the theatre with a group of friends to see Dirty Dancing. The theatre is centrally located within the High Street and is easily accessible. The seating is good and comfortable - you do not feel cramped.

The Churchill Theatre is a blessing for Bromley. They have some really good shows there. However,on my recent visit to watch Dirty Dancing -(which was brilliant by the way ),the music was exceptionally, unbearably loud.To the point that the floor was vibrating. I was in Circle along with friends. Some of us had to cover our ears at times when the... More

As a theatre it is modern, easy access and good views of stage. Use it regularly to see shows that either have been or are en route to the west end. Thoroughly recommend making use of this local venue
