I agree with all of the superpositive reviews in here. As with every treehouse, a stay in one releases your inner child and brings you closer to nature. Of course there are many more treehouses in Costa Rica, but it feels like the Observatorio in Manzanillo is the only one I've seen so far that is truly living up to... More

One of the most amazing experiences of my life. To go into the jungle with Peter Garčár who knows rainforest for 16 years as his own hand and knows about plants and animals everything and can talk about it hours. Climb up to the rainforest & eco & friendly tree house at 25 m he has built. Spent the night,... More

Amazing beautiful nature. Good morning with screaming howler monkeys, small jumping frogs and very nice view far far away

This place is the most unique place I have ever seen. You will never forget your time here. Jason is very witty and a great guide. The jungle comes alive after dark. Enjoy the sounds.

Definitely place 'Once in a lifetime must see'. Wonderful experience of true nature and pure air ! In the middle of the jungle but still with ocean view at the horizon. About 40 minutes hike and little climbing challenge :) however, once on top, ended up speechless... Owners and staff are very helpful, and just a step away to walk... More

Everything about this adventure was wonderful, from the 45-minute hike through the jungle to the treehouse, to the rope-climb up, to hanging out high in the tree, to the climb back down and the hike out. Peter and Jason are excellent hosts. They explained everything we needed to know while we were there and made us feel at home. They... More

If you are in the area, the overnight at Nature Observatorio is a MUST! It was definitely the highlight of our trip. My boyfriend and I decided to stay one night in the tree house which is suspended 80ft up! If you choose this activity, you get to hike the rain forest, learn to tree climb, and enjoy a rare... You are truly in the middle of the nature, during your short hike and of course up on the tree. We saw many interesting animals during our hike to and from the treehouse, and they are free in the open, far better than any zoo in the world. From the treehouse, we used the binoculars to see two types of... More

This was simply an amazing and unforgettable experience. It is really 3 in 1 adventure - first the hike with great tour guides - Peter and Jason who were showing us all secrets of an unspoiled jungle, then climb up (I was able to climb up easily) and then the night stay at the tree. Words can not describe the... More

Peter and Jason were extremely helpful. They were very encouraging and patient getting us up into the tree house. There house was beautiful, just as expected. Spending the night on our own in the jungle was a real adventure. Hoisting our lovely evening meal up was cool. We were given the option of choosing our food and drink. The meal... More
