If you don't' want the challenge of the Burren Walk or the Blackhead Loop…the Caher Valley Loop is a perfect taste of what the area has to offer. Rocks and hills and rocks and valleys and rocks and views and rocks and rivers. Stunning.

The loop provides one with nature at its best, the views incredible, the mythical surroundings a constant and the walk a slight challenge. Welcome to the Burren!

This is a great, quite easy and short loop, perfect for a half-day hike. The loop is a bit steep at the start, but quickly comes to a flat ground and then downwards to Fanore cross. The views from the Burren rocks, to the gentle...More

Whether you're there in sunshine or fog (like I was) this beautiful, rolling hike gives you a wonderful introduction to the pastoral atmosphere of Western Ireland. Just shy of 15km, it was somewhat tough going uphill in the mud and slick mist, so allow yourself...More
