It’s a loverly and interesting setting but I can’t get my head around the idea that such devotion came from one persons vision. Clearly they where not so sceptical 1000 years ago!

This has to be one of the most serene tranquil holy places, you just feel such a presence, it reminds me a lot of holy island in Northumberland. Lovely gardens to sit in, very atmospheric. A good cafe as well. Well worth the visit.

A beautiful shrine to visit and such a calming and peaceful place. Gardens were well manicured and the shrine itself is a delight. Lots of religous artefacts to view. Well worth a visit.

Been here a few times, it makes you think... It is relaxing and serene, has plenty of parking and a very welcoming café with lovely food. Lovely countryside location; would highly recommend.

My wife and I did a pilgrimage for her father and we walked to the shrine. A fantastic moving experience and deeply spiritual too especially in the Slipper Chapel.

We visited the shrine chapel; peace & quiet, beautiful, stunning art, warm & dry on a rainy day. Don't miss the alabaster feet in the ceiling (?!)

We called here to look at the shrine and say a prayer. The shrine is a beautiful and peaceful church. It’s well worth a visit when you come to Norfolk xx

Hi Janice C, Possibly to the grounds but I don't think actually in the shrine.... you would have to ask a member of staff, they are very accommodating.
