Having always been terrified of the giant green RADAR as a child, it was fascinating to see inside the museum as an adult. A must for anyone interesting on modern world history.

Brilliant museum, very informative and the volunteers add a lovely dimension and so much knowledge. Don't miss the Jaguar cockpit, that you can sit in and pretend to be a pilot. Loads to do for all ages, would highly recommend.

An amazingly informative visit. Lots to look at and see and learn about our defense systems. Very well presented with excellent volunteers to help explain what happened, when, why and how. Amazed at how long we spent looking and listening, well worth a visit.

Having been stationed at Neatishead in 1967/8 and completing the ADRS officer's course there in 1969 (I think) I am keen to visit the museum, possibly on a Tuesday later this month. My slight problem is, being a widower, my dog always travels with me. There is not a problem with leaving him in the car, but should we happen to see the sun on my visit day. Is there a well shaded area to park?

There are shaded areas plus there is a secure dog compound. Water will be supplied on request.
