Just to the East of Knysna, at the end of a dirt road, lies Noetzie, a secluded beach which is proudly encircled by castles. It is one of the last remaining homes for the very rare African Black Oystercatcher and is therefore a conservancy.

One of the few beaches Noetzie beach with the castle in the background offers unique situation. Very neat and clean beach is little away from Knysna worth a visit. Not very much popular but is visited by many on way to Knysna.

Even very well traveled South Africans possibly have never seen this beach. The pictures tells it all... Do yourself the favor and drive on the dirt road to go and experience an untouched beach as you've possibly never seen before.
