Passport needed for restaurant visit

This place is trying to be exclusive by requiring a reservation in a hotel or restaurant. So far so good.
When trying to make a reservation, the visitor is asked to give their PASSPORT DETAILS FOR A RESTAURANT VISIT. That goes too far!

This is where we went out on the yacht and rode to the shallows and swam, saw some fish go by and throurghly enjoyed each others company.
Geart Captain and 1st mate. Kind, informative, and there job was to please us...loved it!

This area has lots to do, but very quiet. nice to take daily walks and beautiful views. Nice boats, etc...

Beautiful view and at its end a gorgeous beach

Great view and at its end, Api Beach with swimming pool, where you can relach, drink or eat something and at special ocasions like Easter etc... always activities for the kids! Love it!!

Very Nice Ghost Town

So this place like much of Cap Cana just seems to have not built out like everyone expected. This has all the looks and feels of an amazing marina, it’s just missing all the people and business. There are a few good restaurants and a small market, but beyond that not much.

The one night we were there for dinner and the casino was open but like everything else didn’t look to have anyone in it. To give you a feeling of how dead this place was the sports bar didn’t look to have even been opened in weeks. And both times we were there it was never open.

Beyond the market there were one or two other shops that weren’t even open, in fact there was a sign on the one door saying if you need anything go to the market and they can open the shop for you.

As my wife said it is a very nice place and would be great for photo shoots as you would to have to deal with people.

If you are in Cap Cana stop by and get some food and enjoy a few of the nice boats. Hopefully sometime this place will build up cause it would a shame to see such a nice place go to ruins. I can’t imagine the operating cost to keep it is nice as they do with such little business will last long.

Hello MattD_Golf! We are so happy you visited Cap Cana. From what we read from your opinion we notice you were at the Fishing Lodge, not the Marina Cap Cana. We are in front of each other but definitely not the same place! Since Cap Cana is so big people really spread out but one thing is for sure, we are not going to ruins. Marina Cap Cana is the safest marina in the Caribbean and its one of the best places in the world for blue marlin fishing. We hope you can visit the Marina Cap Cana again very soon.
